Access MBA to meet business pros in Manila in April
MANILA -- To help business professionals find a graduate degree program that would suit their professional background and expectations, Access MBA, a global leader in one-to-one business education events, will hold an international Master of Business Administration (MBA) event in Manila. The event, which is organized by the Advent Group, will be held at the Dusit Thani in Makati City on April 4. In statement, Christoph Coutat, Advent Group’s founder and managing director, said the event is held in 40 countries all over the world.
“At each event, professionals aspiring to MBA studies and managerial careers are carefully matched with top-ranked international business schools, ensuring a personalized and result-focused experience,” he added.
Coutat said interested professionals must register on their website in advance so that Access MBA can identify the most suitable business school options for them. He said the individual meetings conducted with MBA admission directors help each participant identify the business school programs that can provide them with suitable educational experience and career prospects.
In addition to the in-person meetings with the admission directors, attendees will receive MBA and Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) preparation support, obtain information about scholarships and other funding options, gain insight into the MBA admissions process, and participate in panel discussions featuring school representatives and alumni. According to the latest studies, professionals with MBA degrees are sought after in any field. A Graduate Management Admission Council’s (GMAC) report on the poll involving 11,000 business school alumni showed that the alumni find career success across a range of industries and job functions.
“About 79 percent of business school alumni were employed as at 2017, while 10 percent were self-employed entrepreneurs,” the report said. It added that strong demand for MBA graduates also signifies higher salaries.
