2019 UTME: JAMB Speaks On How Candidates Can Check Results
26 Apr, 2019
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says candidates can check their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results on their mobile phones and should not “allow any Computer-Based Test centre to exploit them.”
The examination body’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said JAMB was still screening for malpractice results of the over 1.2 million candidates that sat for the 2019 UTME and would release the results any time “next week.”
He said, “As soon as we release results, we will announce to candidates and also explain the process of checking such results. We have simplified the process. Candidates will use their phones. They don’t need to go to any cyber café or internet provider.”
