Several Nigerians are optimistic of the recovery of a 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidate Segun who attempted to take his life on Sunday over the poor result.

Obiaks News had earlier reported about Segun’s grief as he appeared to have taken a very potent chemical "Sniper Insecticide".

After several tries, Segun was later found alive receiving treatment in Oluwafayokemi hospital, Ijebu Ode, according to a Twitter user.

Meanwhile, some concerned Nigerians have taken it upon themselves to keep praying for Segun until he fully recovers.
