Her words: ”We immediately call for an urgent intervention of your office into this criminal act, not only to save the integrity of the electoral process in Nigeria, but also to nip in the bud, the new breeding version of falsification and deceit among politicians representing their electorate. ”It is our humble and submission that the certificate of return of the aforementioned individual be immediately withdrawn, and your recommendations to the Nigeria Police Force for his immediate prosecution.”

The groups – National Committee of Yoruba Youth (NCYY) and the Coalition of Civil Society Groups said the senator must be suspended and prosecuted following the certificate forgery allegation against him. In a statement signed by the president NCYY, Oladimeji Odeyemi, the groups called on the Nigerian police, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, Department of State Services and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to immediately arrest Uba.
